Pinnacle Horse was started to help horse riders improve their riding
through quality instruction.

We are currently in beta testing with the Pinnacle Horse concept.

The situation that spawned the idea:  I was eating lunch with a professor who
was helping me clarify my idea down to a workable solution.  We got on the subject
of training horse riders and began talking about how many riders improve at a
equine clinic, but do not continue to improve afterwards.  We discussed many
examples including one lady whom had been at the beginner novice level Eventing
for 4 years.  At every clinic she went to, she would work on the same exercises, get
better, and then worsen after the clinic.  She did not have access to quality
instruction which would keep her focused on improving.
Therefore, Pinnacle
Horse was born to help riders improve after clinics.

My Equestrian Background (or maybe Life??)
I grew up riding in Pony Club and made it to only a C-1 rating!  What can I say, I
started late and had other sports interest also.  My Pony Club rally experience
helped me develop an interest in horse management.  Through Pony Club, I got to
experience the Festival / Championship as a stable manager.

After high school, I decided to skip college for a year and go be a groom for
Jim
Graham, a world renown eventer.  I had been accepted to Rhodes College;
however, being a groom turned out to be a great turning point in my life.  Let's just
say, I worked REALLY hard and tried not to disappoint.
I'm on the left,
while at Jim Graham's.
After Jim's, I went to college at Mississippi State University and resumed a more normal college life.  I continued working with
accomplished horse trainers and horse organizations during my summer college years.  They are listed below.

Working student for Bruce Davidson, member of Eventing Hall of Fame.
  • I rode younger horses and pretty much did whatever was needed.  Let's just say, we worked HARD!
  • The experience helped me become a braver rider!

Delaware Equine Center Working student (May - Aug. 2001)
New Bolton Center Nursing Assistant, University of PA (May - Aug. 2002)
  • At this point in time I was interested in Veterinary Medicine.  I worked for some of the leading veterinarians in
equine lameness, equine podiatry, and orthopedic surgery.

McPhail Equine Performance Center Intern (May - Aug. 2003)
  • I worked for Dr. Hilary Clayton, a world renown equine biomechanics research professor.  I assisted in
collecting and analyzing force data.  This is where a develop an interest in Slow Motion Video!

United States Eventing Association Marketing Intern (May - Aug. 2004)
  • I worked to promote the horse sport, Eventing.  I interacted with equine businesses to secure product donations
for the American Eventing Championships.  I got $25,000 worth of products donated for the AEC's.

While at Mississippi State University
  • MSU Equestrian Team and Team Captain for two years - A founding member.
  • MSU Horseman's Association and President for one year - A founding member.
  • First rider in the state to make it to IHSA Regionals and Zone Championships.

Basically, I have been fortunate enough to work with some of the top horse trainers (Karen O'Connor, Bruce Davidson, and
Jim Graham), veterinarians (Dr. Kevin Keane), and equine research professors (Dr. Hilary Clayton).  Throughout my riding
life, I have always wished I could see myself in Slow Motion.

One of my goals with Pinnacle Horse, is to provide Slow Motion Video services that help riders improve
by working with their local horse trainers or our excellent clinicians!
